♥ x'mas with the banana family
as the title of this post, i had an advance christmas celebration with the Royal Banana Family yesterday.. with her majesty, Felicia's camera and the royal banana family's inheritance cam whore gene, there are a lot of photos.. haha.. so i am going to post some here too..
this is the 'reunion dinner' picture.. er.. i am not exactly royal blood.. so it is not strictly 'reunion dinner'.. according to Frankie, i am there cleaner.. =.= NO WAY!!

we spent most of the day cooking.. ahem! sorry, my mistake.. some of us spent most of the day cooking.. remarkingly, HongChuan was the chef of the day.. he is very skillful, so he stand out the most among us..
this is me with my tomato.. i thought i have to help out in some way.. but i am not that good.. did i really help out?
actually, both HongChuan and JianWei are pretty good in the kitchen.. in fact, they are better than us girls!! haha.. the world has turned around! no more stereotyping, kay? but HongChuan must learn to be thrifty.. less wasteful!! omg.. i was screaming at him whenever he threw something away.. =x then again, YiHong had just started his journey to venture the kitchen.. i think it is because of WeiWen.. afterall, they are couple ma..
these are the dishes..
let me introduce them to you.. from the left upper corner, clockwise: stir fry vegetable (i forgot what veg le), 'scramble' egg with onions, fried butter and cereal prawn, ZhongWei's fries, dark soy sauce chicken..
center: YiHong's deep fried pork..
this is another one.. steam cod fish..
my favourite are the prawns and steamed fish.. after all, i like seafood.. nevertheless, every dish was nice.. but sometimes, you should not be around when the chef is cooking.. you might not dare to eat thereafter..
we played UNO!
and it is not surprising that i lost.. sigh.. =( i am not good in card games.. BUT luckily, they kept the cane for whacking.. hehe.. i escaped a fortified..
next up, gifts-exchange!! yay! we drew lots to decide who will take whose gift..
as you can see HongChuan is drawing lots and the gifts are beside Frankie.. WOW!
those puny lots.. i am amazed on how small the number on it was.. the funny part is that you can draw lot to get your own present.. haha.. but it is good in a way, for WeiWen..
i have gotten the one WeeKeong prepared..

and.. TADA! JianWei received the one i prepared.. heh..

and he gotten.. banana arm rest from me..
ha! i thought it was a good gift.. it's good for your arm as most of us work with the computer.. the best part.. everyone else is a banana in one way or another.. actually, the banana is the cutest.. that's why i bought it.. haha..

yay! cakes!! very delicious and rich in chocolate.. yummy!!

and ZhongWei was amusing himself by reading out christmas messages off the television..
in the end, we missed the last train.. gosh.. and i was still in the west.. =( but i think the bad part about the celebration is that we messed YiHong's house.. all the cooking and playing.. i think his grandma must be angry.. >.< oppsy.. nevertheless, i had fun..
