♥ keeping faith

i am running a virus scan on my dearest lappy.. and since i've watched whatever anime that is available, i thought i might as well type something here..

alright.. let me see.. i haven't mentioned the book (one and only.. i am a slow reader afterall) i had finished.. yupz.. you should have guessed it, Picoult's 'Keeping Faith'..

a simple plot yet filled with complicated situations.. 'Change of Heart' was more of Judaism while 'Keeping Faith' is filled with both Judaism and Christianity.. well, afterall, the latter is a story about a girl talking to God.. i like how the story progresses.. but, i didn't quite get the ending.. actually, i have my own way of interpreting the ending.. i am just unsure of my interpretation..

then again, i would like to quote a whole chunk of words from the book that i found meaningful..

"When my great-grandfather died of a stroke, my great-grandma - who was in perfect health - passed away two days later. In my family we've always said that Nana (great-grandma) died of a broken heart. It may not be medically accurate...but then again, doctors concentrare on people's bodies, not their emotions. And if it is possible to die of grief, then why on earth can't someone be healed by happiness?"

*smiles* i would like to believe it does.. this is how amazing our emotions works.. the power of the mind..

I AM GRUMPY.
